We use Citrix XenApp - I cant see the Advanced option you have mentioned.....The latest version of Citrix is Receiver or a plugin. I've install Windows CA root entreprise for test onto server win2k3.
This means that no matter what the client is, the server will provide the missing component in the certificate chain (ie the Interemediate certificate) and therefore the client will trust it.I Depending on the version and OS, some intermediate CAs are already installed. Now they're not getting that, they click the desktop icon and get the error. Good luck!

Also FYI one of my coworkers also got this same or a similar error with her Mac over the weekend trying to login to work. If the Extended Key Usage field is not present in the certificate, the certificate might be considered valid. I don't know exactly what was done. If an antivirus is installed on the client machine then ensure that the antivirus trusts the certificate.
