I did not get an error but after zooming to any extent, I was not able to zoom out. But thought it won't hurt to try...Canon A510..powers on, shows the canon screen, lens stuck (almost all the way in except for maybe about 3/16 of an inch)then powers off. Thanks a lot!!!I tried most of the tips but the one that worked was pulling on the lens barrel while starting up the camera. But many people have reported success with these two methods by using what they considered excessive force.
Some people also have actually used a "Shop Vac" with this fix to help extend a retracted lens. I handed it back to him he kept tapping on it. We tried everything here and none of it would work. Loading...
