Turns out it was my EFS 17-85 lens. Was this answer helpful? I did the first lens test and that is what's causing the problem.
I can not tell what it realy is but the error 99 still comes sometimes.

Almost all of them are true for at least some cases of Err99. My Nikon FM is probably thirty years old, and still works like a charm. Repeatedly zoom in and out and focus while in manual focus setting. But i think cleaning was the solving of the error 99 problem. Clean your lens contacts on both the camera and the lens. This camera is about ten years old. I wish there was a 50-500 in sony mount.
