I have 356 jars in my project. (and you know how long jar file names can be). I exported the project as a runnable jar from within eclipse and did a command line "java -jar MyJar.jar" and it works perfectly fine. So - I guess - this is the problem of Eclipse "Run As..." or at least - the problem of configuration of this plugin. It will work. get redirected here
