Unplug all the drives (floppy, optical, HDD) from the board. Board should POST to a screen indicating there is no bootable device. Intend to use this for downloading etc for as long as it lives. weblink but nothing worked out.

Try resetting CMOS using the jumper. HA! Can't press F1 or DEL since my keyboard won't work. Checksum error could just be because you reset to defaults when you removed the CMOS battery.
